Curriculum

Our curriculum is research-based that empowers teachers to be creative in their approach and parents to be involved as well, fostering an environment that makes learning fun and impactful.

We strive for concept-based learning for the child and follow the XSEED curriculum with STEM (Science, technology, engineer and maths) skills to get them ready for the future.

We equally focus on the developmental skills of the child which include but are not limited to:

  1. LEARNING SKILLS: Time management, Audio-visual, social and logical skills.
  2. LITERACY SKILLS: Phonics, Vocabulary and Comprehension.
  3. LIFE SKILLS: Problem-solving, Communication, Decision-making and Critical thinking.

Our approach to early education inspires love of learning in the child. At Astra, your child will build confidence for life and memories worthwhile, while learning with fun in our safe and supportive classrooms.

Children explore their surroundings with creativity. Educative toys, Flash cards and Role-plays make learning a more joyful experience.

Age-appropriate learning of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths skills are necessary to excel in our increasingly automated and globally interdependent world.

We ensure our kids have the right blend of academic as well as religious teachings that will ensure their moral and spiritual well-being, while enabling their knowledge to be of benefit to mankind.

Experiential learning

The quality of stimulation is directly proportionate to child development.

At Astra Pre-School, we believe that learning is not just about absorbing information from books; it’s about experiencing the world firsthand. Our experiential learning approach immerses children in engaging activities that spark curiosity, ignite imagination, and foster a deep understanding of the world around them.Children embark on exciting nature walks where they observe plants, insects, and animals in their natural habitats. They learn about the lifecycle of butterflies, the importance of bees in pollination, and the wonders of photosynthesis as they explore our outdoor gardens and green spaces.
